So this 20-year-old Belgian guy stabbed little children in a nursery. Man, why children?! Of all types of people, they deserve death the least! He isn't certified insane and neither was he on drugs or alcohol. Why?!??!?
America may have produced some of the craziest news, but nothing can beat Europeans in terms of depravity. Before this guy was Josef Fritzl the Australian Patriot who played Dungeon Keeper in real life, protecting his daughter by preventing her from having any sex partners but him. Blessed be those who only have safe sex. I bet if he kept her there any longer he would have made his great-grandchildren too. Also done in order to protect them.
Whoa! Imagine what would have happened if he died before they were released! Eventually they would breed enough (due to lack of other activities and contraceptives) to create a whole underground (completely inbred) society, kinda like what Adam and Eve did, but in a basement!
Given enough time, they would have evolved to adapt to the poor lighting and lack of space, making the later generations paler, smaller and probably almost blind. They'd have hyper-sensitve ears and no pigments, making their skin appear white, or pink. It is also likely that they'd adapt to the lack of food by having lower metabolic rates or becoming cannibals.
Eventually, some of them would develop bulbs on their heads that contain bacteria which produce light so that they can attract prey. They'd also develop their own language and currency. Some of them may even evolve into algae-consuming creatures.
Omg! Fritzl could have given "underground society" a whole new meaning!
Anyway back to the Belgian dude. I can't come up with a sane reason for anyone to commit such a deed. I mean, sure it's easy to want to do it (even I do, sometimes), but when you look at children with your own eyes, it has to take the greatest of wills to actually commit the deed.
Notice I'm not using any expletives to describe this guy. Not because I'm not pissed though; more like because expletives aren't enough and therefore are completely pointless.
