Rant 947 / Google+ Is An Online Google Employee Directory

I finally did what I was supposed to have done last month. Feels good, man.

I never understood why I keep procrastinating about it though.

Anyways, time for more work.

Holy shit!

Unemployment rate in Greece is over TWENTY PERCENT!

In other words, one in every five non-retired adult Greeks is currently jobless.

Half of young Greeks are jobless.

Whoa!

If the workforce of a country is the goose that laid golden eggs, they're basically no longer satisfied with those and are now trying to amputate parts of its body.

20% unemployment. Man, the social issues that this is going to cause will probably change even their culture.

So now they're also going to make bondholders take a 53.5% cut in the values of their bonds, which has been calculated to be a real loss of 73-74%, in order to reduce their debts.

Yea governments can do that at the expense of their trustworthiness, and private bondholders cannot do anything about that other than stop buying their bonds.

This government cannot possibly win in the next election when it has lost so much of the peoples' trust, and the rest of the EU is worried about whether the next political party/alliance in power will continue to follow what has been agreed upon.

What a mess.

EDIT: Well, that was stupid. I have no idea what I was thinking when I typed that. Those demographics that don't usually vote for them, anything the party does that benefits them would fit into my description of the budget.
