I was reading on circumcision on Wiki when I eventually came across this article about the Holy Prepuce.
The Holy Prepuce, or the Foreskin of Jesus, is actually one of the holy relics of the religion. The 2000-year-old bit of dried skin from a penis is no joke.
Of all the Jesus-related stuff, this may be one of the most gross item to worship. And the Roman Catholic Church excommunicates anyone who speaks or writes about it, so don't go around asking your pastors about it. :P
It is strange how radiation is described like some sort of poison, like higher levels of it will definitely kill a person who has contact with lesser amounts. This is not exactly accurate and is misleading.
Freakin hell! Now that I've managed to force myself to sleep between 12-3am and waking before 1pm, I can't help but fall asleep again between 2-5pm. I just cannot sleep well at night, but my mind rests so easily in the day.
RapidDownload works now. The first time I mentioned it, it was v2.05 and it was unable to download from Rapidshare after the long waiting period. Now at v2.07 it is able to work properly. Tested and proven by me.
The song by Metisse that I've just embedded in the Youtube section is the best I could find in Youtube. Better than the one I placed there yesterday.
This song is probably titled "Boom Boom Ba" and I heard the song as the ending theme of the movie, Dead Like Me. It was the part of the entire film that was the most interesting.
Dead Like Me is about a group of dead people who were assigned to be Grim Reapers instead of joining the others in the afterlife. They were supposed to take the souls of the dying and escort them to the next world when they die. In the movie, the leader of this particular group was replaced by a new guy, a businessman who died in the 9/11 incident.
He somehow convinced them that they can do whatever they want and so they did, only to discover consequences they never expected. Eventually they realized he was also not informing them of new deaths, which they were supposed to attend to.
This movie is based on a TV series that got cut despite good ratings. As a movie it is merely average, just drama mixed with a little fantasy. More interesting than Afro Samurai but no by much. The best part was the ending when the Boom Boom Ba song started.
Outlander is yet another average movie not meant to be seen in a cinema. At first I thought it was sci-fi but I was disappointed in the end. He had a cool futuristic gun but lost it right in the beginning. In the rest of the film they only used primitive axes, swords and hammers to fight a monster who was in the right. Yes the alien was the good guy to me because its kind was hunted to extinction by humans who wanted the planet they were living on. It was the last of its kind, so I don't see how it was in the wrong to kill all the humans. If anything, the hero should have been the villain.
And it didn't even have a nice song! :(
