Rant 365 / Eats

Here's a BBC article on the recent 4chan raid on Youtube, in which Anons uploaded porn, tagged them under false and popular names like Hannah Montana and many others, then kept them as Private until a certain day when everyone released them to the public.

I don't know if they really did it the way it was supposed to (as described above) but this report implies that it was probably a success.

The report mentioned that videos were edited such that they began with real stuff but changes to porn after a while. That was not in the original instructions as I remember them. All they were supposed to do was upload porn. No one stated what sort of porn though, so things like scat and bestiality were probably included somewhere too.

I really love that comment," I'm 12 years old and what is this?" Seriously, I'm pretty sure it's a troll because I would have done that if I had known they would actually bother to do all that. I would have specially made an account just to pretend to be a kid and making innocent comments, ie troll trolls.

As a trolling event, it feels like a success to me. If you've read the comments below the report, you'll see how epic this win was. Did all those people really expect children with internet access to be able to completely avoid the anarchy? The hands of the hivemind that is 4chan reaches further than they know.

Just like it is foolish to give a child a PC and expect him to use it only for work, so it is the same for one to give a child internet access and expect him not to know what it means for a guy to stick his penis into a vagina until he is "old enough".

For the less curious, perhaps they will only see straight porn. For the more curious, they're in for some real impact.

The anonymity may make those people involved seem like cowards, but the fact that there are so many people who did it for a single purpose shows how much everyone wants it. The law may be the law, but the law can be changed.

Anyway the BBC report tried to make it seem like the operation was aimed at children, but that is not true. The instruction was to tag the video with popular names and Hannah Montana was just one of the many hundreds of them.

By the way, at least one of the authors of the comments was a troll.

This type of thing is rampant on the internet, and should not be allowed. The only solution is stricter government controls on the content of the internet, and harsher punishments for those who violate those controls. Everyone involved in this hacking attack should receive no less than 25 years in prison, and should have to register as sex offenders.

Richard C. Mongler is the original name of the grinning guy of the "cockmongler" meme. He mongles your cocks.

Youtube's actions are inadequate. Banning these accounts doesn't affect anything because the first line of the instructions was to make a temporary account on websites like 10minutemail.com and use it to make a new Youtube account. Theoretically anyone can make thousands of Youtube accounts with the disposable emails.

Now to Youtube. Found this video some people tricked into eating hay. Apparently the Chasers are famous in Australia. In this video, Americans are duped into eating hay, which was described as a great weight loss method.

"Tastes great!"
