Rant 465 / Korea VS Korea

Yes! That's one step closer to what I was talking about. Google Chrome will be more like an Internet-browser than a modified "Windows" and the computers it uses will have to be constantly connected to the web to function. These laptops will contain no hard drives but get their programmes from the net and store them on memory chips. Basically, cloud computing.

This will be almost like the device I mentioned before which is worn on the ear, projects images for the user interface and is voice-activated.

This computer obviously can't be used for gaming (unless you're talking about Solitaire and Minesweeper), but it can be very convenient for work. With this it is no longer the user's duty to backup their hard drives, because there isn't one and most of the data is stored in external servers.

Now the problem is getting a good signal when you need it. Booting in 7 seconds is not exactly a great advantage if it's going to take half an hour to open up a chart.

The Nazis are wrong. The Aryan race is not the master race.

Jaedong's back! YOU CAN'T BEAT HIM! EVEN WHEN HE'S LOSING, HE'S WINNING! NON-VICTORY FOR JAEDONG IS A THEORETICAL IMPOSSIBILITY! IT'S LIKE DIVIDING BY ZERO!

The final scene after the third match ended was the best view of the spectators ( or is it audience?).

Starcraft never died, even though it did in my comp.

The drama continues. Hershey now has an alternate option. Instead of a joint bid with Ferrero, it can choose to be backed by Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase, who will lend it money to make a US$17 billion bid, beating Kraft's "derisory" offer of $16.8billion.

But with Cadbury being more than twice as big as Hershey, who knows whether it would work out well? If it cooperates with Ferrero they would split up the company, something Cadbury wouldn't like.
